Love this. I am a Certified Dog Trainer and use clicker training a lot with dogs. It is harder with horses! I have found our timing has to be so much more precise, but I found horses learn it really fast! I’m working on some cooperative care clicker training with my horse; starting with a target, but eventually moving to taking medication via a syringe (using apple sauce now for practice). Would love to hear what others have click-trained their horses to do.

Congratulations Tik! I had never watched this event before and I was memorized all the way to the end.

Watching the riding piece on Sunday. So amazing! I don’t think my experienced chill mare would even be this good!

I watched part of it. Are the sessions recorded to watch? It was so interesting.

I’m really enjoying the Dear Horse World episodes. The ones with Josh Nichols, Tik Maynard and Mark Rashid are all so good. So many good nuggets of information. I already feel more connection to my mare just by slowing down and being mindful of every move I make. It’s so amazing. Grateful that we have access to such brilliant minds.
