Join us for a live virtual book talk with Tik Maynard on Tuesday, June 10th at 9 am PT / 12 pm ET!

We’ll be discussing his new memoir, "Starting in the Middle: How Horses, Those Who Study Them, and 265 Minutes with One Colt Helped Me Find Myself at Midlife" — a deeply honest look at how horses help us make sense of ourselves, our relationships, and our path forward, especially in the messy middle of life.

Tik will read a few favorite passages, share the stories behind them, and answer your questions live. This event is free and open to all, and a replay will be available to everyone who registers.

Click here to save your seat and let us know your questions for Tik about the book or his writing process in the comments below!

Ask an equine podiatrist about hooves & hoof care!

We’re sitting down with Dr. Ellen Staples — a highly respected equine podiatrist based in Ocala — for an upcoming episode of Dear Horse World.  She’ll be walking us through hoof archetypes and what your horse’s feet might be saying, and she’s also game to weigh in on the tricky stuff our community’s dealing with.

So we want to know what YOU want to know about feet and shoeing.  Wondering about barefoot vs. shod? Cracks, flare, thin soles, heel bulbs, nutrition, white line disease? Drop your questions for Dr. Staples in the comments below and we’ll bring as many of them into the conversation as we can!

Did you catch last week’s episode of Dear Horse World with Dr. Jill Hechtman?

It sparked a big conversation about riding while pregnant — or choosing not to — on our social channels, so we wanted to bring it here for anyone who wants to share their experiences or keep the conversation going.

If you’ve faced this decision yourself, what helped you navigate it? If you’re thinking about starting a family, what riding-related questions are on your mind?

We know this is a personal and often sensitive topic, and there’s no one right answer — at NF+, we respect every choice and encourage you to work with your own doctor to decide what’s best for you.

Amazing test and score of 26 for Boyd and Commando 3 which puts them in 2nd place going into XC!!

There was a rain delay earlier this AM and it also looks like the drizzle turned back to pouring rain right as Boyd left the ring ... good timing!
