This was three episodes chock full of jaw dropping revelations for me, sprinkled with a few verklempt horse girl moments. Tik teaches us all that being a “horse listener” is really what it’s all about. Fantastic.

I’m updating my earlier question for Josh How can you help your horse deal with significantly traumatic situations? (Like colic surgery and all it entails) Especially when you are sure they have dealt with a lot of trauma in the past.

Another great session with Tik! How lucky are we? Thanks to everyone who makes this happen.

And the same today! My husband and my trainer were both impressed!

Susanne and Juliette, here…Juliette is the pawing princess Tik provided suggestions for.

The day after last week’s office hours with Tik, I took Juliette out of her paddock and directly to the arena. I did this without even stopping first to brush her in cross ties, as I generally always would.

We hand walked for 20 minutes, incorporating some simple ground work, and then returned to the barn. I continued with our usual grooming and tacking up in cross ties routine.

She did not paw once!

I was AMAZED at how well this very simple and extremely logical solution worked.

Thank you to Tik!

I loved his problem brainstorming process for addressing all of our issues.

Best,

Susanne and Juliette

I love the guided rides, and I’d go so far as to say I NEED the guided rides. As someone who rides alone in my back forty arena a good bit of the time, the guided rides (with fantastic instructors in my ear) keep me on track between my lessons.
