I did not ride this weekend either, and I understand the challenge of balancing family time with spending time with the horses. Now that my daughter is 6 she is able to do more with me, however there is still an underlying mom guilt when I don’t set up playdates or time at the park with her friends on nice days. This weekend I worked on trailer loading with my new horse and I used/ referenced Tik’s trailer loading course for some great tips. It was a great way to end our Sunday and I reminded myself there is value is leading by example for my daughter.
