I have a gelding currently, but now I’m thinking I may need a mare as my next.

Mares make you up your game so much! They have high standards. But once you win their trust, they are amazing partners!

One of each! I love them both but I feel my mare "feels" me while my gelding is more like "yo. Here's my crazy human who kisses me on the nose all the time. Weirdo. At least she feeds me. And pays for this nice hotel she keeps me at."

I agree with Maria, would never change a thing about my mare but she made me work to be able to ride her! Her talent is endless though.
