About the Instructor
Tik Maynard is a lifelong horseman known for his intuitive, respectful, and highly effective teaching style. In this course, he helps both horse and rider work through trailering challenges with clarity, patience, and confidence. With a background that ranges from winning a National Championship in Modern Pentathlon to competing in international eventing, Tik blends equine psychology with practical training techniques that riders can use every day.
He and his wife, 5* event rider Sinead Halpin, run Copperline Farm in Florida where they train horses and riders while raising their two young children. Most recently, Tik won the 2024 Road to the Horse colt-starting competition, often called the World Championship of colt starting.
